This is a 2 week opportunity for 4 fluent English speaking graduates/students to learn the real estate business in a beachside
commercial environment.
The company holds one intern period each year.
The internship is available in February/March 2012, and is based in Joao Pessoa, North East Brazil. You will need to bring
your own laptop computer and digital camera.
It is advisable to bring a Brazilian Portuguese phrasebook.
By the end of the internship you will have the ability to:
Understand how a Real Estate internet based business operates for property sales in N.E. Brazil.
Understand the Real Estate business in a holiday environment for property lettings with particular emphasis on the forthcoming World Cup.
Investigate the opportunities available in Brazil, a BRIC economy. Joao Pessoa is ideally located between two venues for the World Cup namely Recife and Natal.
How to survey, advertise, sell and rent properties.
Build and maintain your own basic property rental website via html.
Understand the development of business strategies after considering the competition and other variables in the region.
Again particular emphasis is on the World Cup opportunity.
You will also be able to develop personal mentors with our Brazilian and European team which will help you in your business future.
Please note you will have to fund your accommodation in a beachside environment which we will organise for you,
some food costs during working hours, and local transport needed to fully partake in the internship. Contact us for up to date costs on our next

Other costs to consider are your airfare to Joao Pessoa airport, any private travel before and after your internship, personal insurance/medical costs, all
social costs outside our board and lodging arrangements and personal spending money.
